Missing

“3 of 4 Family Members Murdered” Bruce read the headline of the Sunday paper. He threw the paper and started to cry. This was his family in the paper. Bruce was always a nice, polite boy until last night. He was at a friends house when he got the phone call from the police station. He was sad but he was more furious than sad.

He was taken to his house by the police. After he saw the police cars all drive away he ran away. He ran into town covering his face with the hood of his sweat shirt. He went down an alley and climbed into a dumpster behind the town barber shop, he fell asleep. When he woke up he saw a poster with a picture of his face taped to a street light pole. At the top of the poster it said in big, black, bold letters “missing”. Brigham was a very small country town so the word of him missing got around fast. As he was reading the poster a man in front of him said “Hey, aren

t you that kid thats on the posters all over town?”. Bruce pulled out a pocket knife that his father had given to him for his tenth birthday and said in a deep and low voice “Yeah but if you say a word to anyone Ill hunt you down and kill you.” The man stepped back from Bruce and asked “How old are you boy?Bruce said “Seventeen why is there a problem?” Nn.. No. Just put the knife away. You have a long life ahead of you. Dont do this please.” Bruce just stood there staring at the man. He got scared and yelled for help. Bruce sprinted toward the man and tackled him into the brick wall of the barber shop. He knocked the man out cold. Even though Bruce knew the man was knocked out, he took his knife slowly cut the mans neck from ear to ear. Bruce checked his pants pockets and found the mans keys to his jeep. Then he noticed a bulge in the mans pants. He lifted up the mans shirt. Tucked into his pants was a revolver. He took the gun and cocked it back. He smiled, and just as he loaded the weapon, a man came running around the corner. Bruce got nervous and shot the man twice in the head and ran.He came out of the alley covering his face. He looked around searching for the jeep. And there it was, the baby blue jeep. Bruce ran across the street and got into it. He looked in the back seat and saw a sawed off double barreled shotgun.

While Bruce was looking around in the jeep a friend of the dead man

s saw him in his jeep and called the police. Bruce was holding the shotgun when the cops pulled up. The man in the shop yelled and pointed at Bruce.

He heard the yelling and quickly looked out the window and seen the police men pulling the guns from their holsters. Bruce pumped the shotgun and fired at the police. He it one and shot for the other, he missed. Bruce ducked as the policeman fired at the jeep. He unloaded a full clip and didnt hit Bruce. Once Bruce heard the cop reloading, he grabbed the revolver and shot the cop then sped away. He looked in the rearview mirror and saw five cop cars with flashing lights chasing him. He turned off the street into the woods. But that didnt stop the cops, they all were still following him and were getting closer and closer to spinning him out. The trees and bushes were getting heavier and it was getting harder to dodge them. He approached a giant oak tree. He tried to swerve out of the way but it was too late. He smashed into the tree head on. The jeep caught on fire and was a huge blazing fireball. Bruce struggled to get out but was strapped to the seatbelt. The fire took a hour to put out. But by then it was too late. They opened up the driver door and there was Bruce. Well, what was left of him. On his lap there was a box that was ticking. One of the fire men turned it and a clock was counting down. It was at ten. The men started to run. The other firemen, cops, and reporters watched them with strange looks on their faces. They looked at the burnt up jeep. “BOOOOOMMM!!!!!”. A nuclear explosion erupted throughout the whole town.

Beep, Beep, Beep!A loud, ear piercing noise was ringing in Bruces ear. He slowly opened his eyes as he was just waking up. Mom!Bruce yelled. His mother came running to his room, Whats wrong?“

Bruce jumped out of bed and hugged his mom. I had the worst dream. You, dad, and molly were murdered while I was at Joes house. It was awful.” “Its alright sweetie, were all okay.

“Thump, thump, thump, thump.” Bruce looked up from his mom’s wet shoulder that he had been crying on and saw a man with a dark ski mask and an axe in his hands running toward him and his mom. “Mom look out!” the masked man chucked the axe, launching it into his mother’s back. Bruce turned and ran for his window. He broke the window open with his elbow and started climbing out. Just as he was almost out, he felt himself being pulled back into his house. It was him. He pulled Bruce in and threw him over the bed. Bruce hit his head against the wall, making him dizzy and his eyesight fuzzy. He started to see straight, the man took a hack at him with the axe. Bruce tryed to move but was too slow to get out of the way and the man struck him in the head.

“Hey kid, wake up, time for breakfast.” “Where am I and who are you?” “I’m your new cell mate.” “Cell mate? I didn’t do anything!” “According to officer Baylor, you tackled a guy and your knife stuck him and killed him. They found you knocked out laying on top of him.” “How long do I have to be here? I want out of this dump.” “Well get used to this dump, it’s your new home…”

Back to Back Shots

14 10 2008
”Yeeeaaahhhh!!!!” the crowd was going crazy. I was on deck and my teammate just hit a solo home run over the leftfield fence. He wasn’t very good and didn’t hit much the season and he hit a homer. I was mad but happy at the same time. I was mad because he hit a home run and I hadn’t hit one all season. But that home run put us up by nine.

After he ran home and everyone finished cheering and celebrating, it was my turn to bat. I stepped in the batters box, dug my cleats into the dirt, and gripped the bat tight. I was more ready to bat now than I ever was. He wound up to pitch the ball, right as he released the ball from his hand I squeezed the bat and swung full force.

I felt the ball and the bat connect. It was a perfect swing. I looked up at the ball soaring in the air. Back, back, gone. It was one of the deepest home runs I have ever seen in little league. The crowd stood up and cheered just like before. I was so excited. I smiled the whole time I ran the bases.

When I turned third base, and was jogging home, I saw my whole team waiting at home plate. As I approached it I jumped as high as I could and landed on the plate. Our team was jumping up and down. On the way to the dugout some my teammates jumped on my back and I carried them to the our bench.

After the game, both teams shook hands. Everyone I shook hands with congratulated me for a great game and my first home run.

Heros in Disguise

30 09 2008
My parents are by far my biggest heros. My friends are to but my parents are always there for me. Whenever I need help or advice they are always there. They help with a bunch of stuff and put a lot of time into stuff for me.Especially in sports. I can’t think of one time they missed any of my games. That’s a lot of games. 8 years of baseball, 6 years of football, and 4 years of basketball. Not one of them missed! That helps me play harder having them there and having them cheer me on.

My dad helps me with everything. One year I just could just not hit in baseball. He told me to shorten up my stride and swing through the ball and harder. The rest of the year I did great. I was even hitting home runs.

So whenever they need me to do something I’m going to do it because they do so much for me. They will always be my heros.

Production Studio or Prison?

My Room… I love being able to go in there and have peace and quiet if I want to. Or to stay out of trouble. I mostly like going in there because it has all my belongings and things that mean a lot to me. I also have things that I love to do in there, like xbox 360, my Ihome, and my t.v.

One of my favorite things to do in my room is making music videos with my friends. Who knows how many music videos in there. Sometimes we make music videos to songs we don’t even know. But that’s always fun.

There is deffenatly times that I hate being in my room though. Like when I’m grounded. I can’t have my Ipod, phone, xbox 360, and sometimes even my t.v. It makes my room seem pointless.

Besides when I’m grounded, playing sports, hanging out with my friends, or on vacation. My room is my favorite and sacred place to be.

Wakeboarding in the Mysterious Mists of Abalone

18 09 2008

It was a hot summer day out on my dad’s boat. We were out in the delta having a great time. We had been out there all day. Me and my brother were taking turns, he would go wakeboarding then I would go kneeboarding. My brother was awesome at wakeboarding.

I wanted to be just like him. So when it was my turn to get out there I tried wakeboarding instead. I was so nervous. When I was all strapped up and ready to go, I grabbed the rope and waited for my dad to start up the boat. When he did I gripped the rope as tight as I could and gave him the sign that I was ready to go. He took off and as soon as it started pulling me the rope flew out of my hands. They turned the boat back around and threw the rope to me. Once I got a good grip on it I gave him the sign to go. He took off again and I pulled my self up on to the board. I did it! I was so happy and excited. And it only took me two tries. I stayed up on it for about five minutes before falling. After that my dad and brother congratulated me and we when I got on the boat.

After a little bit longer on the boat we went home. I was exhausted so I went to sleep really early. I will always remember that.

Burning Sensation

18 09 2008

“Dad help!” I screamed from the hill in our backyard. I looked down the hill and seen my dad running up the hill to  get the dirtbike that was spinning out of control off of me. He grabbed the roaring monster and threw it to the side. He carried me down to the house and layed me on the couch.

I was only wearing shorts and a tank top. He put ice in a plastic bag and put it on my leg. I was so dizzy. I left the ice bag on my leg for about 10 minutes. When I took it off about 3 inches of my skin was stuck to the bag. My stomach dropped. I felt vomit come up my throat but I managed to keep it in.

To this day i still have a scar but it’s slowly going away. And I’ve learned how  to control the dirtbike  better. Plus more about the parts on the dirtbike. Since that day Iv’e always wore long sleeves, pants, and all of my protective gear. To everyone that rides dirtbikes or plans on learning I recomend wearing this gear to.
